With free voice call and aggressively priced data plans, Reliance Jio has stirred up competition in the market, forcing incumbent telecom service providers to come up with new offerings. The plan is for prepaid clients and offers unlimited calling, 100 SMS for daily and access to Jio applications. That means, customers get 49 GB for a period of 49 days with a high speed data limit of 1 GB per day. It covers 360 days, which works out to less than 1GB per day. These include local, STD and roaming calls made from Jio prepaid connections to all telecom operators, according to the Jio website. The Rs 509 Vodafone prepaid plan offers you 1GB of data per day for 84 days. As an additional benefit for customers, we have also built in 100 MB of data that, we hope, will get them started on their internet journey. The customers will be required to recharge with Rs 309 or above to be entitled for the offer. The plan offers 100 local and STD minutes and 100MB of 3G or 4G data for a period of 28 days. You still get free local and STD voice calls (with daily limit of 250 minutes and weekly limit of 1000 minutes) to any network and free roaming across the country. After sending the SMS, Vodafone Play subscription will be activated on the number. On the other hand, under the Rs 509 plan it offers 2GB data per day with 100 SMS and unlimited calling.

Apart from the above mentioned combo pack, Airtel has also introduced another recharge pack for Rs 1,999 for 180 days. This plan also comes with 1GB fair usage limit for 70 days.
