Breakfast at Tiffany's is now a reality

According to Refinery29, the company announced the news this morning that they would be opening the Blue Box Café in their Fifth Avenue flagship store in NY.

How does Breakfast at Tiffany's sound? It's part of the luxury jewellery brand's renovation of its fourth floor, which also houses the new Homes & Accessories collection.

The eatery, decorated in Tiffany's signature robin-egg blue motif, offers breakfast at $29, excluding tax and tip. "The space is experimental and experiential - a window into the new Tiffany".

We imagine, however, that a trip to the Tiffany's café on Fifth Avenue, for most people, would be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Solo also spoke out about the matter via her Instagram account recently (some words have been edited by LBS). Silence will not change the world! "They could, for example, have tighter shorts.

The Blue Box café will serve "American classics made with the highest quality, regionally sourced ingredients", according to a press release. The setting is as inviting as the food is inspiring, serving customers who have always dreamed of having Breakfast at Tiffany.

And look; we have all swooned over Holly Golightly's take-away coffee and croissant outside the Tiffany & Co. windows, but it sounds like the Blue Box Café will take our love affair with NY and Tiffany's up another notch.

Tiffany & Co. has been a fixture on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street in Manhattan since it opened its doors October 21, 1940. The company operates more than 300 TIFFANY & CO. stores in more than 20 countries.
