Gareth Southgate has named six Tottenham players in his England side ahead of November's friendlies against Germany and Brazil - and Gary Lineker believes all of them would get into his Three Lions line-up.

England manager Gareth Southgate has been full of praise for Liverpool defender Joe Gomez after selecting the youngster in the senior England squad, according to a report on the Telegraph.

Southgate rubbished Wilshere's chances of making the England setup, saying "I don't know how you get in an England squad if you're not in the Arsenal team".

"We just need to see him playing before he comes back in because unfortunately there has been a history of injuries. That's a style I want to have a look at". "But they are players who excite me to work with and I think they excite people when they learn more about them and see what they are capable of". I know what Chris can do.

"I have huge respect for Chris".

"That's only going to build their confidence and benefit us as a country".
