Former Manchester City forward Robinho has been sentenced to nine years in prison for sexual assault, according to Sky Italia.
He is now based in Brazil, playing for the Atletico Mineiro.

The former AC Milan and Manchester City forward has been convicted of being one of six people involved in the assault of a 22-year-old woman at a Milanese nightclub on January 22, 2013.
Robinho has a right to two appeals and Italy would only seek extradition once this legal process is exhausted, a source said.
"All legal steps are already being taken in response to this decision".
If he loses the appeal he would could be extradited to serve prison time in Italy. Five other men have also been found guilty of the offence.
The other four men had not been found by Italian police, ANSA said.

As Robinho is a Brazilian national now residing in his home country, however, he is highly unlikely to face jail time for his offences.
The incident, which the player has insisted he played no part in, occurred when the 33-year-old was at AC Milan following his departure from the Etihad in 2010.
Robinho moved to Europe amid much hype in 2005 when he joined Real Madrid from Santos.
Having scored 25 goals in 108 Serie A appearances for the Italian side, Robinho completed a mega-money move to Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande.
Robinho had previously been accused of sexual assault during his City days, but was ultimately cleared of any wrongdoing.
