If you immediately binge-watched the first season of Mindhunter when it hit Netflix in October (or if it's on your "NEED to watch" list), you'll be thrilled by the news that the spine-tingling series has been renewed for a second season. Scroll down to see that announcement as well as our video interview with Groff.

Johnathan Groff (HAMILTON, SPRING AWAKENING) and Holt McCallany (JUSTICE LEAGUE, BLUE BLOODS) portray the two agents, while Cameron Britton plays the role of serial killer Ed Kemper. While both of those programs probably should've went on longer than they did, we're certainly glad that we're seeing them both on something else worthy of their talents now.

In a recent interview with Billboard, David Fincher said that Season 2 would primarily center on the infamous Atlanta child murders, in which almost 30 African-American children, teens, and young adults were kidnapped and killed between 1979 and 1981.

Team news for United's clash at Watford
Defender Miguel Britos is a doubt after suffering a knock in the 3-0 victory over Newcastle and will be given a late fitness test. Watford has lost twice at home in the league this season, Manchester City beating it 6-0 and Stoke City inflicting a 1-0 defeat.

Of 18 new scripted series to premiere on Netflix in 2017, 13 have been renewed, two canceled after one season and three pending, with most if not all of them looking good to come back. The platform has also taken Prison Playbook and Argon, among other shows, as part of a multi-title pact between the service and CJ E&M.

"We are excited to bring new dramas that Studio Dragon and CJ E&M produced to various countries around the world", said Seo Jang-Ho, general manager of CJ E&M. "MINDHNTER Season 2 is coming".
