After its launch in China, Huawei's mid-range smartphone brand Honor is all set for its India launch on Tuesday alongside the Honor V 10 global launch event at London starting at 8 PM IST.

Huawei took the veil off its budget flagship, the Honor 7X. The device is available in three colours: Black, Blue and Gold.

Buyers looking for a thin-bezeled bargain, meanwhile, can pick up the Honor 7x from today for just €299 (£269) in over 20 countries, including the US, UK, India, and across most of Europe.

The fingerprint sensor on the View 10 is front-facing, but the phone retains the Mate 10 series' signature small bezels.

The talking point however is not the screen or its build, it's what's under the hood. It runs on HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.36GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, and an i7 coprocessor, coupled with 6GB of RAM.

Lamborghini Urus Debuts as World's Fastest SUV
The sharp creases, deep cuts, and swooping roofline altogether reflects that the SUV is a mean machine. The Lamborghini Urus will be available in spring 2018, with a starting price tag of about £150,890.

We have received the review unit of the Honor 7X and will be posting our first impressions soon. The phone houses an expandable memory of 256GB via the external microSD card in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.

Like its predecessor, the Honor 7X aims to be an affordable dual-camera phone, so it includes a 16-megapixel+2-megapixel combo on the back. There are dual rear cameras (16MP +2MP) with PDAF and portrait mode an 8MP front facing camera also with portrait mode, beauty mode, and amusing filters. It supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS / GLONASS. Powering the Honour 7X is a massive 3340 mAh (typical) battery.

While the Honor View 10 joins the growing list of new phones launching with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, the Honor 7x has to settle for Android 7.1 Nougat. Due out on the old continent at some point in January, the Kirin 970-powered phone is priced at a very palatable €499 and £449 for European Union territories and the United Kingdom respectively.

Other AI based features on the Honor View 10 include an AI-accelerated translator and Smart Tips, apart from intelligent scene and object recognition, as well as motion detection that will adjust camera settings. For the front camera, there is a 13MP sensor.

Honor 7X will debut in the Indian market on Thursday, December 7 through online retailer Amazon which is accepting pre-registration. It's hard to judge low-light performance in just a few minutes in a demo area, but I feel confident in saying the View 10's camera is at least competent, this phone and stands a good chance of outperforming the 5T in darker conditions.
