Rafael dos Anjos responds to Colby Covington's call out

Yes, Dana White said the victor of RDA - Lawler would get a title shot, but that was before Woodley announced he's having shoulder surgery.

"I'm not a guy that talks so much to try and get a title shot, because I'm talking bad about people, cursing people", dos Anjos told MMAjunkie after his win on Fox.

Dos Anjos seemed to have the ideal strategy to dismantle Lawler as he chopped away at his foundation with a series of brutal leg kicks before then pressing forward with a flurry of strikes over and over again. For me, I'm just blessed.

"I think when (Woodley) fought Demian (Maia), he was anxious about takedowns only", dos Anjos said. "Robbie Lawler is a very risky opponent and he's knocked out so many different people, but just being honest and keeping it 100 percent, I'm the champion for a reason". After five rounds of action, dos Anjos earned a unanimous decision victory and called for a title shot.

Rafael dos Anjos responds to Colby Covington's call out

On Colby Covington taking a shot at him for not finishing Lawler: "I have no comments about that guy, man".

With current division kingpin Tyron Woodley sidelined following surgery, Covington believes he should meet dos Anjos for the interim title - and he's willing to do it in the Brazilian's backyard. In my opinion, I just beat the toughest guy in the division.
