SHANNON: Maybe another boxing match? The only thing he hasn't done is defend the 155-pound title.

TriStar gym head coach Firas Zahabi has been trying to get the McGregor fight to happen since GSP returned to action last month and defeated Michael Bisping for the UFC middleweight belt. People loved it, so somewhere down the line there's a possibility for a trilogy, but right now he has to defend his title against Tony Ferguson. "He tried not to do it, but he contractually had to let go of the 145-pound belt".

White tells us. he's gunning to promote boxing in 2018 - but he's not targeting a Floyd vs. Conor McGregor rematch. "Because if you look at how everything played out, Conor has fought everybody".

White also stated, in an interview on Undisputed, that the victor of the UFC 219 fight between Edson Barboza and Khabib Nurmagomedov could determine the next fight for Ferguson while he is awaiting the return of McGregor.

"It wasn't Conor's fault [dos Anjos] got hurt. And after the fight, every fighter in the UFC gave him props for representing the sport".

The county also teams up with the city of Charlottesville, chipping trees collected through the city's curbside pick-up program. In Brunswick County, residents can drop their trees at the landfill or at a convenience center.

The Dagestani Sambo expert may have to sit out until Ferguson and McGregor finally meet, though an actual second interim bout between Khabib and Tony has been mooted elsewhere.

"There's some f-- exaggeration in saying the guy has never defended a title", White said.

One thing Dana White did rule out, is a fight with Nate Diaz.

The Canadian star vacated the title just 31 days later, citing health reasons. White wasn't happy with St-Pierre's decision to vacate the title and was quick to shut down speculation that the French-Canadian may face McGregor in what would certainly be the biggest fight that can be made in the UFC.

Despite the situation, the UFC executive said his recent conversations with McGregor haven't been about fighting. "The question is does he want to come back and do it? They're both waiting, if Georges wants to come back".
