Winter Weather Advisory: Snow is coming, got milk (and bread)?

Forecasters say 2 to 4 inches of snow are possible along the I-95 corridor. Benji is the first storm to drop any measurable snow on Pensacola Airport since 2014.

- Temperatures dropping 25 degrees or more without precipitation or 32 degrees or more with precipitation. North Carolina got about one foot of snow. Several school systems in Georgia were closed.

At Philadelphia International Airport, the weather was resulting in delays averaging close to an hour for incoming flights. The advisory also includes the five boroughs of New York City, Westchester and Nassau Counties, and Southern Connecticut.

Philadelphia reported an official 1.3 inches at 1 p.m., making this the first official snowfall of the season - and that's right about on schedule, based on long-term records.

Winter storm warnings are in effect from Virginia to MA, according to the National Weather Service -- excluding Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and New York City for now, which are under a winter weather advisory instead. Due to the low angle of the sun during December the snow will take some time to melt. Use caution while driving.
