Garner, the oldest daughter of Eric Garner, suffered from cardiac arrest a week prior and was being hospitalized in Brooklyn, New York, her family said.

Erica Garner, the daughter of Eric Garner who became an outspoken activist against police brutality after her father's death at the hands of a NY police officer, died Saturday, according to her mother.
