USA issues 'Level 2 travel advisory to India' for its citizens

Under the new system, every country has a Travel Advisory, providing levels of advice ranging from 1 to 4.

Besides Malaysia, Canada and Australia, other countries in the same category include Brunei, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, Kazakhstan, and New Zealand.

US Department of States issuing a new travel advisory warned that Americans should be careful and avoid traveling to Pakistan due to the apprehensions of possible terrorist attacks. Terrorists or armed groups are active in east-central India, primarily in rural areas.

Levels Three and Four we review every six months just as we did Travel Warnings.

The certification is done to give consumers the confidence that the device they purchased will indeed work with the new standard. However, Intel is also making its own optimizations to the standard for better performance amongst its own 802.11ax devices.

For each country that has a Level 2 or above, the warning will specify what the risks or threats are and why travelers may need to reconsider travel, exercise caution or not to travel at all. It specifically advised Americans not to travel to Jammu and Kashmir, except for eastern Ladakh and Leh, and not to venture within 10 miles of the India-Pakistan border due to the "potential for armed conflict". Level three countries include Russian Federation, due to civil unrest in certain areas, and Venezuela, due to crime and a limited ability of the USA to provide assistance to citizens. This program also remains a recommended path to receiving updates to travel advisories going forward. In the past, there have been large-scale terrorist attacks resulting in hundreds of casualties. "Incidents of violence by ethnic insurgent groups, including bombings of buses, trains, rail lines, and markets, occur occasionally in the northeast", the India travel advisory reads. "Some areas have increased risk".

The arch-nemesis of world's superpower, North Korea is also in Level Four, with the additional restriction that USA law prohibits American travellers from using their passports there, effectively banning visits to the Kim led-state.

U.S. citizens are advised not to travel to the eastern DRC and Kasai provinces under the new system, which sometimes has separate, higher tier rankings for particular regions within a country.
