You guys can check out the TrustedReviews article here - it carries a lot more details on the various side activities that you can do in Red Dead Redemption 2 campaign and multiplayer portion, companion app which will release alongside Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26.
According to the site, Red Dead Redemption 2's online component will feature various modes, including a "Revive and Survive", "Money Grab", and a "Battle Royale" mode.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to include both first-person and third-person modes according to the documents obtained by Trusted Reviews.
It also seems that Red Dead Redemption Online will function in much the same way as GTA Online, with players able to roam the single player game's open world then select the smaller-scale modes they wish to play.
As this is not officially confirmed by Rockstar Games, all of this information should all be taken with a grain of salt.
Other online modes in the documents include "Revive and Survive" - in which two teams compete and players have a limited amount of time to revive their teammates - and "Money Grab" in which teams fight over bags of money. This type of gameplay is becoming increasingly popular and it makes sense that Rockstar Games would find a way to integrate it for "Red Dead Redemption 2".

In terms of multiplayer offerings, Red Dead Redemption 2 will borrow quite a bit from Grand Theft Auto Online.
This type of news shouldn't be terribly surprising considering how far games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Fortnite have pushed the Battle Royale genre. The last big thing, persistent online worlds a la Destiny, is much more hard to maintain than throwing a bunch of players in survival arena and telling them to have at it. At the time, Rockstar offered us some new screenshots to tide us over, but it seems a big leak has revealed many more details about the upcoming game.
"Eagle Eye makes a return with enhanced abilities including tracking bounties through fields and detecting which fish and animals are available nearby", reports Trusted Reviews.
Specific player actions during campaign missions apparently have a form of branching paths. However, it's entirely possible that some of these are inaccurate, while other may have been made up, as pointed out by Game Rant.
Red Dead Redemption is scheduled for release on PS4 and Xbox One on 26 October 2018.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is expected to have a first-person mode like GTAV.
