According to Konami's EULA for Metal Gear Survive, it seems that the company does not want gamers to mistake the game as a dating service. One reason why Metal Gear Survive has been criticized is due to its heavy use of microtransactions, with some costing as much as $50 at launch. Whether you're playing on PS4, Xbox One, or PC, you can now jump into the game right now and try out the game's co-op mode for the first time ahead of the official launch on February 20. Up to three other players can join your game to explore the world and complete missions with you.

Beta participants will earn in-game bonus items which will be made available upon the game's official release. I guess we'll get a better idea of how they affect gameplay when the Metal Gear Survive update arrives. Please Note: You need an Internet connection to play Metal Gear Survive in both offline or online. Because of this, the game is under heavy scrutiny from the fanbase who believe that the franchise should have stayed finished after Kojima bid his farewell. Set sometime between the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear Survive has players transported to an alternate reality infested with crystalline zombified-like known as "creatures".
