On Friday, Alabama has a chance to pick up another huge scalp when it faces off with blood rival Auburn, the SEC's top seed and a projected three seed in the NCAA Tournament. Collin Sexton is averaging 18.3 points and 3.6 assists while Donta Hall is averaging 10.9 points and 6.9 rebounds. Sexton then got the ball in his hands via an inbound pass and sprinted down the court and swooshed a game-winning floater just before the buzzer to give the Crimson Tide the 71-70 win.

Game on the line and probably NCAA Tournament hopes with it, Gia Sexton instead stood out in the hallway of the Scottrade Center and listened to the crowd.

However, Starks would answer Sexton yet again. For the season, Alabama has defeated opponents by an average of 2.7 points.

Sophomore forward Robert Williams was a virtual non-factor on the offensive end in the first half, making zero of his two shots. Also, the Crimson Tide rank 48th in free throw attempt (FTA) rate (0.281), while the Aggies rank 51st in opponents' FTA rate (0.198). The Aggies trailed the Crimson Tide 35-28 at the half.

Sexton is the go-to option for Avery Johnson's Alabama squad.

The court also ruled that the Kerala High Court should not have annulled Hadiya and Shafin Jahan's marriage. The case was heard by a bench comprising of Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra .

The absence of Davis forced the Aggies to look to Starks to step up in the scoring efforts. "Six points, two blocks, three steals - he does a lot for us". Mustapha Heron is averaging 16.6 points and 5.5 rebounds while Bryce Brown is averaging 16.4 points and 1.8 assists.

The Tide, who led my as many as 12 points, were in the process of trying to stop a furious Texas A&M comeback in the final minutes. Despite the loss, Sexton was the game's leading scorer with 23 points. Vegas is known to set the total high when the Crimson Tide are involved, as 69.0 percent of their games have ended under the O/U total.

The Aggies will now have a break before learning their fate on Sunday's Selection Show. But man, it stinks to go out of the conference tournament like this.

Alabama heads into the game with records of 17-14 straight up (SU) and 15-14-1 against the spread (ATS).
