Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown left Thursday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after a awful looking fall in the third quarter, but fortunately it seems like he is going to be just fine.

Such was the case with Jaylen Brown on Thursday, after much worse was feared for the Celtics small forward when he took a terrifying tumble to the court.

Kyrie Irving had 23 points, eight assists and seven rebounds, and Al Horford added 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 117-109 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night at Target Center in Minneapolis. It would end up going unused, however, as Brown was able to walk - under his own power - off the court to the locker room, where he was "evaluated for concussion-like symptoms".

Brown's hands seemed to slip off the rim before he was ready to let go, throwing off the balance on his dismount.

A number of National Basketball Association players watching on TV took to Twitter to express their concern for Brown and relief that he was able to walk off the court.

In Oklahoma City, Russell Westbrook scored 27 points with 9 assists and 8 rebounds to lead Thunder to a 115-87 victory over the Phoenix Suns. They have three more losses than the Raptors.

Making his first start since Phoenix's win over Memphis on February 28, Jackson played 13 minutes and tallied six points, two rebounds and two assists against Oklahoma City.

Giants acquire Alec Ogletree from Rams
Ogletree had 95 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 INT, 2 tackles for loss and 10 PBUs a year ago for the Rams . K.C. declined and Ogletree ended up getting shipped to the New York Giants for two draft picks .

"He felt pretty good leaving the arena. I was just happy he was able to get up and walk off because that was one of the worst falls I've seen", he said after the game.

"We're so close as a group, and we'll make sure Jaylen is okay", Boston's Kyrie Irving said in a postgame interview.

The Boston Celtics guaranteed themselves a trip to the National Basketball Association playoffs with a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves dropped their third in a row despite Nemanja Bjelica's game-high 30 points. Towns didn't score for the Timberwolves for the first 15:22, until a 17-footer from the corner fell through the net, but Morris quickly answered with another 3-pointer.

Brown exited the game with 14 points and five rebounds in 28 minutes.

Boston returns home to face the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night while the Timberwolves cap off a rough two-game stretch with a Sunday afternoon tilt against the Golden State Warriors.
