Argentina coach Jorge Sampaoli has indicated Lionel Messi will feature against Spain in Tuesday's global friendly in Madrid, ESPN reported.

Argentina, who beat Italy 2-0 in Manchester last Friday, will play Iceland, Croatia and Nigeria in Group D at the World Cup.

"We have a common aim, which is [the World Cup in] Russian Federation".

Messi said he had struggled to partner with Dybala on the pitch because the Juventus star plays just like him.

"It is impossible to teach him anything".

"No serious injury we are being told".

"It's tougher for us to play in that area".

Spain coach Julen Lopetegui insisted he was only interested in the performance of his own side as he prepares for Tuesday's friendly against Argentina in Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

When Whyte brutally knocked Australian Browne unconscious 37s into the sixth round Joshua was suddenly $1270 richer. It is understandable for boxing fans to be frustrated given that it was a really good left hook from Whyte.

Sampaoli insisted he was not gambling over his captain's fitness by fielding Messi against Spain.

"If there were some risk, Leo would say something", Sampaoli said.

"He trained yesterday and today and if he stays as he is there'll be no worries about him playing".

Spain coach Julen Lopetegui has experimented with his starting striker since dropping Alvaro Morata and recovering Diego Costa with the World Cup in Russian Federation less than three months away.

Even without Messi's injured Barca team-mate Sergio Busquets, Spain produced another impressive display of controlled football when they drew 1-1 away to Germany on Friday night.

'Right now we're not among the contenders to win the World Cup, ' argued the Barcelona star.

Lopetegui has to decide whether to use Tuesday to give game time to players who didn't figure in Germany and that could see Marcos Alonso given a chance to make his debut at left back, while Lucas Vazquez and Iago Aspas could also give some real pace to the Spain attack.

Spain and Argentina are seen as two leading contenders at the World Cup in Russian Federation which runs from June 14 to July 15.
