Kanye West tones down Trump praise at Kardashian's urging

Kanye West, making the most of his return to Twitter after nearly a year away, doubled down on his praise for President Donald Trump on Wednesday, calling the president his "brother" and saying the two men share "dragon energy". "He is my brother".

Azealia Banks is NOT here for Kanye West's Twitter rant about becoming President, and instead of coming after him, she took a major jab at his wife Kim Kardashian. "I don't agree 100% with anyone but myself", West said. By the way, during the election campaign of candidates in presidents of the United States, she supported Hillary Clinton.

With so much furor over the controversial tweets running rampant, Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian also put in her own two cents, questioning why Kanye's opinions would set people off this way.

Janelle Monáe, who spoke with Hot 97 about Kanye's support of right-wing activist Candace Owens - which she later confirmed could also be quoted in relation to Trump - said, "I believe in free thinking, but I don't believe in free thinking if it's rooted in or at the expense of the oppressed. Most people (including myself) have very different feelings & opinions about this", Kardashian wrote. She asked him to "make it clear" that he doesn't "agree with everything Trump does".

In between tweets about Trump he had also written: "I'm nice at ping pong". Kanye further tweeted a photo of himself in the company of Universal Music Group chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge and YouTube's global head of music Lyor Cohen where he's wearing the "Make America Great Again" hat. Kanye West was spotted visiting Trump at Trump Tower in December 2016, after he had been released from a hospitalization.

West's praise of Trump is jarring to many of his day one fans, who remember when the rapper slammed then-Republican President George W. Bush on public television.

Will the Philadelphia Eagles visit the White House?
However, after these comments from Lurie, whether the invite to the White House still stands will become a question as well. Shear tell of an audio recording of an exchange in September between a player, and Eagles Owner Jeffrey Lurie.

West proudly proclaimed in a subsequent tweet (with numerous flame emojis) that his hat was signed by Trump.

"Obama was in office for eight years and nothing in Chicago changed", he wrote.

The 39-year-old star took to Twitter in the midst of Kanye West's social media tirade to poke fun at the 40-year-old rapper.

Despite what many may think given his recent Twitter activity, Kanye West is doing just fine, according to his friend and collaborator Chance the Rapper. Because some of his ideas differ from yours you have to throw in the mental health card?' she said.

Musk went along with West's dragon theme on Wednesday, too. That's just not fair.
