Michael Chandler roasts Dillon Danis as 'most un-athletic fighter in Bellator'

Emelianenko has had business and other dealings with President Donald Trump, Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) - Fedor Emelianenko won by technical knockout over Frank Mir in the opening minute of the first round of the Bellator Heavyweight World Grand Prix on Saturday night. From here Fedor was able to finish the fight with a succession of strikes on the ground, referee Mike Beltran stepping in after just 48 seconds, as Mir had no answer for the pinpoint ground-and-pound. He was first connected to Trump back in 2008 when he became a member of Affliction Entertainment, a fight league Trump formerly had an ownership stake in. The promotion folded after those two events.

Fedor will now progress to the semi-finals of the grand-prix, where he'll go up against Chael Sonnen.

Facebook's Messenger Kids is getting a sleep mode
Since its launch in December 2017, Messenger Kids is facing widespread criticism for encouraging children to join social media. The new option is being controlled by a parent from the Parent Control center in the parent's Facebook account.

Putin has also attended Emelianenko's fights and has been photographed with the fighter, according to the AP.

Emelianenko was questioned in his hotel room on Tuesday, his manager, Jerry Millen, confirmed to The Associated Press four days later. "They were very nice, very professional", he added. Michael Cohen was listed as the Chief Operating Officer of Affliction's MMA division. Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has said she had an affair with Trump in 2006.

With tensions between Russia and the USA simmering again and accusations of Russian interference in both Trump and Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaigns, the Federal Bureau of Investigation may have a vested interest in Fedor's North American dealings. He retired in 2012 but began fighting again in 2015.
