Snow expected in New York City on Monday

Most areas in and around New York City should see about 2"-3" of snow with a slushy mess on the roads. Travel will be slow at best, to hard in locations that pick up more than 4 inches of snow.

"Other significant amounts include Melville with 9.8", Park City with 8" and Billings with 5". The snowfall is predicted to be heaviest until 11 a.m. ET but a winter weather advisory remains in effect until 2 p.m. ET in NY.
