Reports state Gerardot had learned of an affair between her husband Mark Geradot, 49, and Chapman, prompting her to break into Chapman's Lowrys Lane home in Radnor Township where she waited for Chapman to come home.

Recently discovered evidence shows that on the day of Chapman's murder, Jennair rode a train from DE to her Radnor Township house and donning a disguise.

The gunwoman was also possibly wearing a wig as a disguise, according to investigators.

Mark Gerardot and Chapman, who were both employed by the University of DE, were having an affair. They found a man in the driveway who said, "My wife may be inside". "There were emails and text messages indicating what she planned to do", Radnor Township Police Superintendent William Colarulo said in a news conference Tuesday.

Police state the bodies were found at the back of the home when Mark went in search of Chapman, and after neighbours alerted authorities about gunshots in the area.

The Police Superintendent pointed out that there were no indications of Mark's wife being capable of gunning down a person.

Chapman was married to Newark City Councilman Luke Chapman, who could not be reached Tuesday. 'She wore a wig, and took a train from DE to Radnor.

Chapman's family told Delaware Online she was a "beacon of light to anyone who was fortunate enough to meet her".

"She loved her family fiercely, was a compassionate friend and among the most talented and innovative professionals in her field", the spokeswoman added.

Ricky Rubio posts triple-double for Jazz in win
Rubio's triple-double was the first by a Jazz player in the postseason since John Stockton in the 2001 playoffs against Dallas. After only 16 total points and three assists in Oklahoma City, Ingles provided the offensive firepower down the stretch.

One of the last people to see Chapman alive was reportedly a neighbor, who told The Philadelphia Inquirer that she saw Chapman pull into her driveway and then heard an unnerving sound that didn't make sense in their quiet community. Mark Gerardot also worked at the University of DE for some time.

Additionally, WDEL has learned that Mark and Jennair Gerardot were also separated and in the process of getting a divorce.

"During her 2016 run for district senate a group of students, including myself, helped to support her campaign and she let us know that working with her UD students motivated her to be a better professor and advocate for a stronger education system and job opportunities for the next generation", the student said.

He was supposed to meet with Chapman for dinner Monday night, according to police, and became concerned when she did not show up.

Luke Chapman and Meredith Chapman's family also issued a joint statement Wednesday asking for privacy as they mourn.

But it also shocked the marketing, political and higher education worlds in the DE area, industries in which the Chapmans and Gerardots both found some prominence.

A recent addition to the Villanova community, Meredith Chapman, was killed Monday in a murder-suicide in Radnor.

Chapman worked at WHYY and for former Cong.

"In the hours since receiving the news, it has been impossible for me to imagine our DE without someone so transcendent and committed to service", he said. Then she turned the gun on herself, Associated Press reported. "We will miss her".
