Rick Grimes is a central character in The Walking Dead universe, for both the TV series and the comic books on which it is based.

Collider reports The Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln will be making his exit from the long-running post-apocalyptic AMC series during the show's upcoming ninth season.

For those living under a rock, The Walking Dead portrays life in the months and years that follow a zombie apocalypse. No word on how his character will be written off the show. "I don't know but certainly I really think the fans and my character deserves an end point as some time in the future".
