Instead, Bethesda unveiled Fallout 76. The trailer even features the dialogue, "In Vault 76, our future begins".

What do you think of this new Fallout?

It's not yet clear what kind of game Fallout 76 will be, or which of Bethesda's studios has been involved in developing it. There were speculations whether fans would have to stay patient until Bethesda's E3 press conference in the coming weeks but thankfully today we got some extra information.

According to Fallout lore, Vault 76 has 500 occupants, wasn't used for any kinky experimental shit, and if we go by the date on the Pip Boy in the trailer (October 27, 2102) the game is set 185 years before Fallout 4. Whatever Fallout 76 gameplay we see expect it to be very revealing, especially with the online and multiplayer rumours floating around.

On its social media pages Bethesda is showing a "Please Stand By" clip, and that clip is totally made in the Fallout style.

Vault 76 is one of the Vault-Tec vaults shown on the computer in the Citadel.

Apple’s HomePod will soon be available in Canada, France, and Germany
The company released a software release called iOS 11.4 on Tuesday that unlocks more features for the smart speaker. You can also control the synced speaker directly from the lock screen of iPhones and iPads and also through Siri.

This claim is lent credence because Battlecry Studios (now known as Bethesda Austin) - the team that was reportedly working on a hero shooter some time ago - is developing the game alongside Bethesda Game Studios. The previous generations had two Fallout games, both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas were critically acclaimed and loved by fans. An online RPG means you will share your gaming world and your adventures with millions of other Fallout 76 players.

We further see our vault resident wearing a vault suit with a big "76" on its back, hinting that the player's origin will be of Vault No. 76. It may well be possible if Fallout 76 can Frankenstein together the best parts of Fallout Shelter and the few redeeming qualities of Fallout 4's settlements.

Although no platforms were announced, we can presume an Xbox One, PS4 and PC version of this game will be on the way.

That sounds like it could be an equivalent to MMO The Elder Scrolls Online, but we'll have to wait till E3 next month to know for sure.

And so, the official teaser for Fallout 76 is right here.
