Nokia X6 with 19:9 FullView Display, Dual Rear Cameras Launched

Nokia X6, HMD Global's smartphone in the "X" series was launched in China on May 16. The most highlighted feature of the phone is its iPhone X-style notch on the display. Meanwhile, the Finnish tech giant is now preparing to unveil Nokia X or X6 in China on May 16 as per the reports.

Nokia X6 features a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and ultra slim bezels on the sides. Shielding the display is Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The Nokia X6 is fueled by a Snapdragon 636 SoC combined with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of inward stockpiling or 6GB of RAM and 64GB stockpiling. The internal storage is also expandable up to 256 GB.

For photography, the Nokia X6 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 16MP RGB camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.0um pixel size, dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP Monochrome camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.2um pixel size. When it comes to selfies, the X6 has a 16-megapixel front camera, similar to the main rear shooter, and has the same f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixel sensor. The smartphone is backed by a 3060mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. As for Nokia, both Google and HMD Global have confirmed the coming of Android P to Nokia 7 Plus, which now runs on Android Oreo. Nokia X6 will be available in three colors: Black, Blue and White. The 4GB RAM model packs 32GB and 64GB internal storage while the 6GB RAM variant packs 64GB internal storage. Currently, there is no word on global availability of the smartphone. It also offers the Bothie feature, letting users utilise both front and rear cameras simultaneously. It also includes an 8MP front-facing camera. It measures 147.2×70.98×7.99mm (excluding the lens), going up to 8.59mm with the lens, and weighs 151 grams. There is a 3060 mAh battery in the handset bundled with 18 Watt charger.

Further, the smartphone also comes with a Face Unlock feature as well as a fingerprint sensor placed on the back panel. The device will go on sale starting May 21st in China. The onboard storage is 32GB and 64GB depending on the RAM. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
