ABC/Randy HolmesAfter a dispute with a security guard on Wednesday morning, Atlanta rapper T.I. was arrested by police in Henry County, Georgia.
Channel 2 Action News, which broke the story, reported that the "Live Your Life" star returned to the gated community where he lives around 4:00 a.m. and that he didn't have his keys. With the Police in attendance, T.I. reportedly asked the guard once again: "Don't you know who I am?"
Ireland said T.I. and a friend were arrested.
Since his release, T.I. has addressed the issue in an Instagram livestream while attending his son's classroom birthday celebration in which he referred to the arrest as "nonsense" and "small potatoes."
LMA Manager of the Year: Pep Guardiola
On the back of the shirt was the word "Champions" along with the number "18", after City won the Premier League title this year. Speaking afterwards, the 47-year old said: "All the other managers deserve this".
The rapper served about seven months in prison in 2009 after his arrest on federal gun charges. The rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., was arrested for simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, TMZ reports.
T.I.'s wife, R&B singer and songwriter Tameka "Tiny" Harris owns a home in the Eagles's Landing Country Club community that she bought in 2014.
Unfortunately, the Trap Muzik rapper is no stranger to arrests. According to The Blast, T.I. says the incident started because the security guard of his gated area fell asleep in the guard shack. Tip clearly identified himself and sought entry. The guard continued to refuse entry without justification.
Still, he claims the security guard, who was African-American, "antagonized" him and had "every opportunity" to apologize for sleeping, but the guy refused. Words were exchanged and apparently the guard and/or a supervisor called the police.
