Outrage as Forbes calls Kylie Jenner a 'self-made' billionaire

What makes Jenner's accomplishment all the more impressive is that her cosmetics line is only two years old and she owns the entire business herself. With earnings from her cosmetic company and endorsements, Kylie is worth $900 million.

The web dictionary kicked off a big kerfuffle yesterday when Forbes magazine named Kylie Jenner one of its ' Top 60 self-made American women" - a description which made a lot of people scoff, considering that Jenner, although hugely successful and indubitably hard-working, can hardly be described as "self-made' considering the family she comes from. Facebook's Zuckerberg didn't make his first billion until the age 23.

Kylie Kristen Jenner being the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner family is an American TV personality, entrepreneur, model and socialite. In comparison, sister Kim Kardashian is estimated to be worth around $350 million.

While most would consider Jenner, who's not even old enough to legally consume alcohol, a huge success, she's apparently receiving some unwarranted backlash over her Forbes cover. They say she has no talent and is just a pretty face but they are so wrong. "I have such easy access to my fans and my customers".

"Ever since I was in sixth grade, I would wear purple eye shadow", Kylie recalled.

Critics are calling out Forbes for calling Jenner "self-made" as she didn't exactly come from nothing.

Jezebel's Megan Reynolds echoed the sentiment, writing, "She does owe much of her "self-made" wealth to her mother, Kris Jenner, whose evil genius for marketing her children and creating a capitalist empire around their image deserves far more shine here".

Sebastian Vettel has extended his championship lead, pulling off an attack on Valtteri Bottas in the concluding laps to win the 2018 British GP.

As her appearance began to change, the world became fixated with whether or not teenage Jenner got lip fillers.

"I said, 'I'm ready to put up my own money".

Her plumped up lips undoubtedly helped her sell the lip kits that do NOT include the fillers responsible for her flawless pout.

Other sources of her fortune include, TV programs and sponsored products like Puma sports shoes and Pacsun clothing completing her 90 billion Kenyan Shillings worth at only 20.

Kylie debuted Kylie Lip Kits in 2015 before relaunching in 2016 as Kylie Cosmetics.

"Thank you @Forbes for this article and the recognition", added Kylie.
